hey all.
remember how i told you i got busted trying on gucci platforms?
here is the evidence.
d. took this paparazzi surveillance video with my blackberry bold while i was preoccupied playing with platforms. there is a longer version, but it needs some editing. i have to play with that one.

what is it about trying on a fabulous pair of shoes?
for me, i always feel like a kid in a candy store.
it is a fabulous rush. really.
i am such the adrenaline junkie.
give me dark chocolate, a double espresso made from peruvian (yeah) coffee beans, a pair of black leather boots, stilettos, or platforms. ahhhhhhhhhhhhh.



anyone else get a rush from trying on a great pair of shoes?

i got busted trying them on when d. sent me a secret paparazzi video of my shoes escapade...i sent may and ihaveadog copies of the video clip in case the one on my blackberry bold goes awol.

i keep playing the video shoe clip over and over on my b. bold (it's only about 10 seconds) but i am feel like a kid watching barney the purple dinosaur for the very first time.

moi? i have on my rick owens brown distressed leather moto jacket, circa 2002. a true ro classic. the leather on this one is so different from my ro moto jacket cira 2008.
i also have my marc jacob black suede pom pom booties avec my givenchy smooshy-to-perfection distressed black leather 'gale. ( i have a distressed black patent 'gale in my closet that i will have to locate...)
the ivory scarf is from paris. leather and lace. yeah.

may, i tried on those gucci black platforms you have lurking in a recent pix on your blog...
'nuf said about those for now...

ckparis and the adventures of wardrobe malfunctions in the 'nana republic

hey all. how are you?
now for something completely different from my usual chauss posts...

ok, time to lighten up and be amused with the adventures of ckparis in just another day in paradise.
these pix were all taken the same day in the banana republic of the southern most portion of the U.S.

the taxi in the pix has a bumper sticker which says, "i have no idea where i am going." this is really true.

next pix is a mannequin avec a wardrobe malfunction taken yesterday of a display window in the front of a coral gables BeBe store.

this seems to be the new 'nana republic store window trend bc the last pix was taken of a display window in front of another store in south beach the same day.

what is going on?
i know i blogged to you all about the recent major energy shift in the universe, but 'nana republic store windows are putting their own spin on it.
a gravity issue peut-etre?

ahhhh, just another day in paradise.
and don't ever ask a 'nana cab driver directions...
it would be a total waste of time.
