I need the lace-up sandalized boots by Prada (2006) owned by Sea of Shoes and just received a pair of Costume National washed brown leather thigh-high boots that fold over to the knee. LOVE! But heel is unusually low for me (like, 3 inches). Am I getting old?

ihavedog,finally tried on g.valli's IRL and was disappointed!!!! yup, the pitch is more like ysl tribute 4 inch as opposed to oooompf factor of 6 inch. the side view was great, the front, ehhhhh for $1k.... now thos loub rodartes...............i havent seen them IRL, but i cant imagine being dissppointed (except the price )
did you post pix of costume national boots? hey 3 inches is short....hmmmm. i just complained about the 4inch, but the valli pitch is off bc the platform is really high. i think it needs more vava-voom arch. (unless there is a 6 inch version?)

I know what you mean about the Vallis being weird in the pitch (at least in real-consumer life) as I was studying the Spring 08 pair on LVR and found them unappealing because of that one fact. Maybe we'll have to resort to Alexandro Ingelmo to get our sup-ah high platform cool pin-up looks for fall? Speaking of LVR, that's where I bought the Costume National boots from and they're still on the site for fall. . . not sure where to post a pic, maybe TFS. I work on my feet all day so the three inch heel is appealing for comfort but where I work one is looked upon askance if wearing thigh-high anythings (court). p.s. I'm DYING for a Tina Chow piece! Yours is KILLER!!!!
