ckparis, raquel allegra and krelwear

hello all. how was your weekend? tell me...

my SA extrordinaire, mariam, at oxygene told me to make sure i stopped by for the krelwear custom made knits-on-the-spot event that oxygene was hosting.
i wanted to show mariam my raquel allegra shredded shirt that she helped me decide on getting in grey as a first piece. mariam totally gets it. i gotta warn you, these t shirts are addicting...

anyway, i met karelle, the creative designer of krelwear and daria from nyc of krelwear who explained the concept and gave me several pieces to try on for ideas.
expect an interview with karelle of krelwear at my blog in the not too distant future. :)

i picked out a tube piece of black lurex knit material to be as the body of a skirt and karelle added a black cotton band to the top of the skirt. the black tube piece i picked had deep blue seams and we decided to let a few pieces remain of the blue seams remain visible along with several runs in the black lurex material.

one hour later, instant adorable krelwear black knit skirt customed designed by karelle for ckparis.

i wrapped a piece of krelwear black lurex fabric around my hair and coupled with my grey shredded raquel allegra t shirt, voila, instant outfit.
oh yeah, i do have on my louboutin cactus booties to complete the look.

d. took a secret little video when i was out on the balcony which shows the pieces in their natural element. it was quite breezy up on the 37th floor balcony today so the raquel allegra t shirt and krelwear knit skirt sorta come to life.
as soon as i figure out how to down load it to blogger, i will post it.
