the first pix is my friend, c's bird, rosita. c. inherited ro when her first people mommy left the earth about a year ago. ro was always spoken to in english and had developed a slight NYC accent herself. being an african grey parrot, she likes to talk. it used to be," hell-oo, how ya doin'?"
c. told me ro was really confused in her new home. you see, the new people living with her only spoke to her in spanish. she lost her feathers and started biting.
fast forward to a year later....c's former NYC accented bird now says; "how are choo doing?" and rolls her rrrrrrrrrrrrrrs like a true native spanish speaker. she calls herself rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrosita now instead of rosita. and her feathers are returning. see pix. check out rosita's own bird version cdc bracelet.
next pix is me a few months ago with my bal magenta 05 WE, first season thomas wylde studded leather jacket, sprouse scarf and holiday season starbucks. i miss those red cups. and i was sorta wondering when i could break out my arm warmers again.
how's that for a non sequitur post?
i didnt want ihavedog to go thru chauss withdrawal. new stuff soon...

hi ya ihavedog, good eye! i actually tried those exact pair on at NM this past season. (my style :))however, the $1200 price stopped me bc i already have my eye on vallis or rodarte loubs ...very cool shoes. this next season, perhaps? nm carried several styles.

i used to have 3 parrots back in Guatemala...i really didn't like them but it's probably coz i wasn't old enough to appreciate them.

Cute story about the bird. Love those African greys. The only birds I fear are the freakishly large ravens that live in the north. Btw. have you seen the Hermes Medor stud earrings? I really need to track down a pair...I keep thinking they'd be the perfect CDC accent earrings. Why do all these people say cut out the starbucks?
