salutations. what does one wear when one is craving winter and the temperatures seem to hover at 85 degrees every day?
hmmmm, that would be faux ice skates and a furry polar bear-esque vest.
d. actually asked me if i was auditioning for a coca cola commerical.
you all know which ones...

anyway, i have on my oh-so-comfortable and oh-so-cult bcbg mendel pony hair booties.
i added a forever 21 faux fur polar bear vest coupled with a basic white t shirt and black mini skirt.
i am ready for my fourth dimension ice rink.

btw, this was taken in the enea tropical rainforest garden in the miami design district. the 'nana can suprise you some of the time...

hey all, hope you had a great weekend.
down in the'nana, it was art basel weekend.
i discovered another fabulous place in the miami design district, the enea rainforest garden.
and on the same street as christian louboutin, F factory, Y-3, en avance, pacific time and michael's genuine.
the garden is a truly beautiful place.

hey all, what are you doing?

moi? hanging at in the gorgeous Moore building down in the miami design district during art basel.
F factory is the multi brand pop up shop which contains margiela, fendi, christopher ross, stubbs & wootton, touche muah, and katherine fleming to name a few...
like a kid in a candy store. :)
did i mention christian louboutin is a few steps down the block?

i have on my balenciaga astro girl boots, alexander wang coco bag and basic wolford.
now, if we could just get some cold weather...

ckparis and mendel pony hair booties

hey all, how is your week going?

moi? well, yeah, wearing another pair of black ankle booties.
these are the ubiquitous blogger booties of the moment.
bcbg mendel black pony hair 6 inch wedges.

totally weird and wonderful and comfortable for those who wear skyscraper shoes on a regular basis.

definitely 8 hour shoes,
not the 2 hour and 3 advil "dinner" shoes or the
4 hour and 4 advil "suffer for beauty" stilettos.

and something about the blade on the back end of these boots makes me giddy like a kid on ice skates.
i feel like i am secretly gliding around a frozen ice rink somewhere
above the mason-dixon line where the temperature actually goes below 80 degrees, way below 80 degrees...
a girl can dream.
ahhhh, just another day in paradise.

did i mention i have another pair of louboutin black bondage booties on the way ?
i hope they fit.
