Chauss, outstanding jacket! :-)Nice of you to have spared the animal.I bet you love those wild beasts.Myself, I don't fall in love often. But when I do I fall hard. But what does the Bible say?"Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand", see Proverbs 37:24.Have a wonderful weekend! :-)
Hi Chauss!Sorry, it should be Psalm 37:24.I know the New Testament better by heart, but I'm learning all the time...I dont agree with the negative views of Elijah the Tishbite, concerning both the Kabbalah and the Talmud. He doesn't like that, but I think those books and ideas are great.I have moved so many times I've lost my library.I loved the books of Abraham Abulafia, Moshe Idel, and Abba Hillel Silver. The Pseudoepigraphs are also gone with the wind, along with the Sefer Yetzirah, my books on the Talmud, and the Zohar books which I loved. The Greek oracles went the same way. When I was a kid I was able to move small objects between rooms by thought force.I don't know what is worse, to have lost that ability or to not have my books. If I may live and have the health I will learn my daughter what I remember, if I have not forgotten all, and I might never see my son, who is probably lost anyway. But why do I care?Elijah the Tishbite is unwanted in Jerusalem, and I'm unwanted in Constantinople.Maybe the world is better off without us?Have a fabulous weekend! :-)
