ckparis and the city

hey reader.thank you all for the great responses to yesterday's exercise in positive energy transference. (is this a fashion blog or a physics class?)

and if you didn't play, well, today's a new day to give it a shot. and you can report back here with the results.
me? i was kinda wimpy and only smiled at 2 strangers who smiled back. :) no verbal hellos....yet.

i spend sooo much time between dimensions. i am the one who is totally oblivious when you scream, "CK!" when you unexpectedly see me. yeah, i have plenty of 'tude, but i am really in my own word crossing dimensions, and not being rude when it seems i totally ignore you.
just try harder to get my attention please.

and the outfit? black again, still, whatever. it works for me and my aura.
specifics? yigal azrouel leather jacket, another lbd, violet croc watch band, random scarf and shades.

antoine, and anyone else who needs help with my chauss abbreviations, listen up:

bc is short for because.

'celets is short for bracelets.

irl means in real life

lbd means little black dress

croc is short for crocodile

'gale is short for givenchy nightingale

and 'tude, well you all know that one...

see you on the astral plane.

I think black is definitely your color. For me its black and grey, people are always trying to get me to wear color but you have to do what feels right. I tend to smile at strangers all the time, my mother says I have the Mona Lisa thing going where I look like I'm smiling when I'm not. I think living in a big city has me a little jaded and its sad. Then there is the whole men who don't act well issues....sigh. Being friendly is nice and I have to get back to that, bring down those big city defenses sometimes. Had a great moment yesterday just walking down the street the sun was out and it was hot but not too hot, sort of when you feel like you're semi-floating through the world ;) - salomelovesjohn TFS

That picture is superb!! What was the weather? It's very hot and smoggy here as if the dirt cooks in the air and comes to a surly orange boil. Somehow you make it look like a cool breezy 72-F day.

Meanwhile, I tried your smile-stranger idea and it works as a mirror really (a very good mirror in perfect lighting :)

p.s. did you see the Ingelmo Mary Janes - they are in the new US Bazaar.

Baby CK, how are you mon ami? What a phenom shot, you look so stunning! You should do a video, I'm so terrible with editing and such - I'm just terrible with computers.

If you do make one, especially if you're on a Mac, you definately have the advantage with that Movie Maker program. I suck at PC's, seriously.

Have a wonderful weekend, my love!

Chauss: p. 116-117 of the August Bazaar (US) also see the Versace (p. 132), but not so much when pictured on Victoria Beckham (p. 127). I don't even begin to talk about some of the other accessories (scarf by Marc Jacobs, p. 142 -- so Chaus!) and clothes in the issue (see article on Pastels). You need to buy the Blumarine dress, in black, of course.
