hey readers. how is your weekend going?

moi? my favorite vintage black felt fedora with a 1940's rhinestone sweater clip on it, sprouse leopard scarf, kain gray t shirt and gianni barbato distressed and embroidered leather boots.

i am not sure what is going on with alignment of the planets and stars, but communications have been a bit mixed up all in areas...
I95 south just closed for a few hours (traffic insanity), blogger.com ate my post, yahoo.com has issues, my clothing i ordered off the 'net got lost in virginia and i got someone else's order that didn't even match the enclosed packing slip.
ahhh, just another day in paradise.

moi? i have on a james perse long sleeve white t shirt, sprouse scarf, denim mini, black tights, dior black leather moto boots, the usual chauss-celets and my hermes black leather and gold collier de chien.
all coupled with the usual chauss 'tude. yeah.

the bottom pix is taken from paris vogue fevrier 2009 issue. notice the double hermes cdc bracelets on the same wrist, one with gold hardware and one with silver hardware. hmmmm...

btw, since i didn't have a scanner handy, i took the pix from paris vogue avec my new blackberry bold and then was able to upload it to blogger.
and for all of you who asked, yes, blackberry bold is the way to go. i have so much to learn, but the device is amazing.

i am so into the fourth this weekend. yeah.

i have on a george t shirt with a black gun and a girl hanging from the gun. i call it my james bond t shirt.
if you can't navigate to the fourth yet, a james bond movie is a great escape from the third for two hours. drama, action, suspense and sex, what more can you want?

chauss thru the looking glass

ok readers, are you ready?
listen up guys , you are gonna learn how to fly...
if you don't know the difference between the 3rd dimension and the 4th dimension, read chauss in the looking glass with ysl for the basics.

how do you get to the 4th?
well, let's start with a basic view of the 7 main chakras in the body.
once you understand those, you can do a basic color meditation to relax and open your mind to what you can't see with the naked eye in the 3rd.

chakra 1 is the base chakra or root chakra located at the base of the spine.
chakra 1 is associated with the color red and
controls survival, personal identity, security and health.

next lesson will be about chakra 2...

anyway, the mannequin-esque pix is me. sorta avant garde.
i have on a semi-vintage sprouse scarf circa the first louis vuitton/marc jacobs collaboration in memory of stephen sprouse .
i also found a vintage speedy (true vintage) hidden away in the depths of my closet.(best place to shop!)
the speedy bag has a super cute lock closure that snaps into place and a leather seam down the middle of the bottom of the bag.
i have my favorite black vintage fedora on which has faded to a glorious eggplant color and my balenciaga black leather astro girl boots.

make it a GREAT day. (even if that means an extra shot of espresso in your starbucks, dark chocolate and some minor splurge with your credit card...)

moi? well, let me tell you about my favorite starbucks barista, pablo, first.
i am a definite high maintenance starbucks customer...
today's choice: grande cap with thick soy foam to the top, no soy milk and a shake of those dark chocolate shavings. (do you know how hard it is to foam starbuck's brand soy foam with 100 percent humudity?) lol.

anyway, back to pablo... the boy gets a starbucks customer who demanded he put the whipped cream on one of those starbucks special drinks from the LEFT TO THE RIGHT!!!! wtf???
(i am so checking out to the 4th as soon as i can.)

the world is a ca-raazy place. i freak out when i open my mail, but the news is even stranger. recession, madoff, israel...

ok. take a deep breath. you gotta learn to ground yourself if you want to stay sane.
it's a tough place out there for even the most advanced souls.
look at yourself in the mirror when you get up, and say out loud, "it's going to be a great day."
put it out there. set it up. do something for someone else that is totally unexpected.
your own problems will still be there, so back burner them for a minute, or an hour, and see if you can make someone else's day a bit better.
use you imagination.
and tell me how it goes.
and you know what? the positive stuff you put out comes back to you tenfold. really. trust in the universe.
