hey, you guys know i truly believe in the powers of self talk and positive energy.
yeah.
and in case of emergency... eat chocolate, and drink tequila...
hell, take the credit cards out of the freezer (i call them "frozen assets")
and do whatever you have to in order to get through the night...

ckparis, pasion coffee and hermes

hey you all. how was your weekend?
i went to F21 this past saturday. what a trip. the place was packed and the line for the fitting rooms was half way across the room.
no thanks.
oh yeah, the other set of fitting rooms were closed.
hmmm.
anyway, being the resourceful chauss that i am, and coupled with my scorpio nature, i set up shop to try a few shirts on in front of the nearest mirror i found.
i always admired those chic european women who were able to get out of a wet bathing suit and into an outfit right there in the middle of the beach without missing a beat and without any wardrobe malfunctions.
i did ok.
one adorable woman came up to me with her baby in tow, and said, "i would do the same thing as you, look at that line!"
i did have three woman plant themselves down on a nearby bench to gawk at me in shock and awe.
yeah, i am a true scorpio.
i was able to pick out the right sizes and have some fun doing it.
but i gotta say,

rumi does have a point about shopping on line for F21 stuff...

and now for something completely different: chauss in black.
but a bit of a different look for a different setting then my usual starbucks.
this uber cool coffee place opened in coral gables a couple of weeks ago,
pasion del cielo coffee.
really great coffee and i like the energy.
i was completely delighted when the guy behind the counter asked me what country i wanted my coffee from.
ummmmmmmmmmmm. i had a choice of beans from 8 or 9 countries.
i went for a double espresso from peru with soyfoam for my first time.
next time, i got the same drink with brazilian beans.
i think tomorrow i'll try columbian double espresso with soyfoam...
(h of candid cool, stop by for a cafe and and some conversation when you are down this way.)
you know i am having a challenging week when i am planning my adrenaline fix before i even go to sleep.
yeah. i am an east coast chick who lives on west coast time.

today's post is dedicated to my christian louboutin cactus booties. a couple of pix you may have seen before and the bottom one is new.
and you get to see the million dollar chauss smile.

the bottom pix is a true paparazzi shot taken as i was walking by the two girls on the left. the brunette really loved my booties.
and for those of you who asked for another pix of my vintage chauss closet find, my black crochet sac a dos, here you go.

the red undersoles on my loub cactus booties were the only red i wore for valentine's day yesterday.
perfect understatement.

moi? when i saw this pix, taken with my blackberry bold, i had an instant dimension skip...
i saw a gypsy psychic studying the bottom of a coffee cup to see what the remaining coffee grinds meant to the client sitting across from her.
the gyspy even had a wristful of bracelets that made clinking sounds and that could rival my own wrist of chauss-celets.
hmmmmm.

hey, any excuse to get out of the third dimension today. can you all relate?

back on the third, i have on my rick owens distressed black leather moto jacket, sprouse violet scarf and a shelly litvak vintage turn-of-the-century ivory pendant on her signature black suede cord
avec my dolce and gabbana mirrored aviators.

i think the vintage necklace coupled with the purple (7th chakra higher psychic power) color scheme and rakish angle of the scarf thrown across my shoulder and lack of sufficient zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzs pushed me to a past life flash.

hey all, how was your weekend?

ok, and to answer a frequently asked question:
stairs. yeah.
real high rise stairs in a real stairwell.
no fancy gym equipment means no cheating.
i like to walk/run a 46 story high rise 3x-5x per session.
this sunday i did 184 flights. woo hoo.
i used to run 5-7 miles at a time (not my thing anymore)
and stairmasters make me feel like a laboratory rat on a wheel.

hence, chauss stairs.
it is really a great way to completely zone out and do some creative thinking
and meditating...
hey guys, it really works for us Type A people.
mind over matter.

you can accomplish whatever you really want to do.
do not let negative energy stop you.
it is just as easy to be positive as it is to be negative.
so red light, green light...
change your 'tude.

and if today really didn't go well, try again tomorrow.
persistence can actually lead to great things. :)

and wear whatever color makes YOU happy. your aura will manifest this and
positive energy will flow your way.
